Noritake exhibited at the 8th BioPharma EXPO held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 26 to 28, 2024.

At this exhibition, we proposed technologies and equipment for biopharmaceutical production. The centerpiece of our exhibit was the “Column-less Purification System”.

By using a completely different method from conventional methods in the purification process of antibody pharmaceuticals, we proposed not only innovation in the clarification process and a breakaway from column chromatography, but also a reduction in operating time and facility space.

In addition, we held a seminar in our booth. Dr. Tadayoshi Kawasaki, the inventor of the column-less purification system, took the stage about current issues and technological trends in the purification process. The seminar was a great success, with many visitors stopping by our booth.

At the exhibition, many people involved in the pharmaceutical industry viewed our products and commented on various aspects of biopharmaceutical production. Based on the comments and requests we received, we will work on the development of column-less purification systems and future bioprocess-related products.
